On October 20th at 2217hrs the OFC was alerted to a vehicle fire on Dupont Parkway at Pole Bridge Road. 4-5 went enroute at 2218 with a full crew to investigate the car fire. Under the command of Deputy 24 arrived and found a single vehicle with a smoke condition inside the vehicle. Crews ventilated the vehicle and found that underneath the vehicle insulation had been saturated with a liquid and ignited, causing the smoke condition in the car. The crew extinguished the small fire and the scene was placed under control at 2233hrs. Scene was turned over to DSP.
