Tuesday, November 01, 2011 @ 05:26hrs, N.C.C. Fireboard dispatched The OFC, N.C.C. Medic 5 and D.S.P. Trooper 4 for a M29D2 - an M.V.C with Rollover and Entrapment on Vance Neck Road in the 800 block. N.C.C. Police arrived on scene first and confirmed one subject trapped. Chief 24-8 arrived , confirmed the entrapment and established the command. Rescue / Engine 4-6 arrived and handled stabilization while the crew from Rescue 24 handled extrication. The person was extricated in under 20 minutes and flown by aviation to a local Trauma Center. Odessa Firefighters had 22 members respond and were in service for 1 hour. Units on scene: Chief 24-8(Lynch),BLS A-24, Rescue / Engine 4-6, Rescue 24, Deputy Chief(Vucci), Station Fire Police, Medic 5, and D.S.P. Troopers / Aviation.
