On Tuesday, December 7: The OFC was dispatched to Route 1 southbound in the area of Appoqinmink Creek for a fuel spill. Rescue 24 under the command of Deputy 24 found a tractor trailer south of Fieldsboro Road(Sta26 local) leaking diesel fuel. The truck had drove several miles down Route 1 before noticing the issue. DNREC / DEL DOT and Station 26 were notified. Deputy 24(Vucci) had the command.
