Paramedic Familiarization

Training Event: April 4, 2018. Station 4. 1900-2200. A training class will be on ‘Paramedic Unit Familiarization’. This class will be instructed by a New Castle County Paramedic utilizing a Paramedic Unit. The purpose is to familiarize Firefighters and EMT’s with the equipment and procedures the Paramedics use on scenes. As we all know emergency scenes can be incredibly chaotic so being able to assist the Paramedics when they may need something allows the Firefighters, BLS, and ALS to work seamlessly together to ultimately benefit the public we serve. The KNOX-BOX is a system to provide the fire department access while eliminating damage.
