2nd Annual Thanksgiving in Odessa - Station 24
Sunday, November 22, 2009
The 2nd Annual Thanksgiving in Odessa was a great success this year. The Thanksgiving in Odessa occurred on the 22nd of November, the weekend before the real big turkey day. This is a MEMBER FUNDED EVENT. Members get together and bring a dish and cook food at the station. The meal is huge and the members are left with tons of food to eat on duty crew over the week. Some of the features include deep fried turkey, ham, fresh killed venison, green bean casserole, chicken marsalla, and other foods. Also there was a large selection of cake, pumpkin ice cream squares and other delicious desserts. The Thanksgiving in Odessa is a great opportunity for the membership to get together for the holiday season and spend time with fellow brothers and sisters.
