Monday evening, February 8th at 22:54hrs, Stations 1&27, Stations 4&24 for an engine and rescue, and Station 26 for an engine were alerted for a house fire at the above listed address. Before fire department units arrived on scene, the call was upgraded to a working house fire, adding Station 29 for the RIT assignment, Station 15 for a ladder and Station 44 for an engine. Rescue 24 and Rescue 27 arrived on scene with fire showing from the residence. Hand lines were placed in service and the bulk of the fire was knocked down within minutes. Additional crews assisted with extinguishing fire extension and ventillation. Both primary and secondary searches were completed with negative results. Fire Department personnel were on scene for over 3 hours assisting the fire marshals office with their investigation.
