16:04hrs: Station 4/24 responded to the 300 block of Staves Landing Road for a L1*...Fire - Marsh Fire (67B1). Field Piece 24-0 with a crew in quarters responded and arrived to find 2+ acres of marsh weeds on fire. Assistant Chief Hensley requested an addition Engine from Station 24 and Argo 29 from Port Penn Fire Company. Companies were in service for over 2 hours. Units on scene: Field Piece 24-0, Engine 24-3, BLS B-4, Field Piece 29-0, Argo 29 and Chief 29-8 While Station 4/24 units were on this alarm an addition dispatch at 17:15hrs for an L3* Appliance Fire Inside the Structure on Anderson Street in Middletown was altered. Engine 24-3 and Engine 4-5 responded and was quickly cleared by Rescue 27 @ 17:20hrs
