Station 4/24 was alerted at 0900 hours to a possible woods fire on Boyd's Corner Road in the area of Bayberry. Engine 24-3 under Command of 24-8C (Asst Chief Hensley) arrived and found a controlled burning at 1041 Boyd's Corner Road and due to the State burn ban started extinguishing the fire. Command requested Tanker-24 for water and man power. Engine 4-5 under Command of Captin-4 (Lynch) assisted with water supply and extinguishment duties with the crew from engine 24-3. Command placed the scene under control at 1018 hours and all Station 4/24 units cleared.
