Odessa Fire Company Members participated in several memorial services on the 10th anniversary of the 911 terrorist’s attacks on our country. Members stopped and prayed through out the day to remember the senseless loss of lives of our fellow Americans that occurred in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania. Even more in particular the loss of our 343 brothers and sisters from the Fire Department of New York. Like many fire companies across the country, our company took part in a special events on September 11 at the Citizens Hose Co. Smyrna fire Station 44. Those members that attend where permitted to wear Class E Uniforms (BDU pants or shorts and company t-shirt) plus wearing of our fire gear to this event.
