MVC with Rollover / Entrapment - DuPont PKWY / Scotts Run

17:34hrs, The OFC was dispatched to a M29B1 M.V.C. on DuPont Parkway in the area of Scotts Run. NCC Speical OPS401(Wilson) arrived on scene after the dispatch and advised the New Castle County Fireboard that a vehicle was rolled over and subjects trapped. The response was re dispatched adding N.C.C Medic 5 and D.SP. Trooper 4. He also reported a Trauma Arrest and multiple victims. Rescue 24 with a crew in quarters responded 2 minutes after the dispatch and arrived on scene to start extrication at 17:41. Rescue/Engine 4-6 and Rescue 29(Port Penn) also made the response and arrived on scene at 17:42hrs. Additional BLS from Delaware City, Middletown and Port Penn responded. Several injured were transported to Christiana Hospital in Newark. Chief 4-8B(Schulze) marked the extrication complete at 18:02. Apparatus on scene: Rescue 24, Rescue/Engine 4-6, Engine 4-5, Utility 24, Deputy Chief 24, Rescue 29, BLS A-24, BLS A-15, BLS B-15, BLS B-1, BLS A-29, Trooper 4, Medic 5 , ALS 26, OFC Fire Police, DEL DOT and D.S.P. U.S. 13 Southbound was closed for several hours while Delaware State Police investigated.
