Wednesday October, 19 2011 @ 07:33hrs, Station 1/27 and Engine Company 24 were dispatched to a L2*Vehicle Fire with large fuel load(71D5H).Tanker 24 responded at 07:36hrs and arrived on scene at 07:39hrs. Assistant Chief 27-8-B placed the scene under control at 07:40hrs. Crews from Middletown extinguished a small fire that was contacted to the trash compacter.
