Friday December, 23 2011 @ 18:56hrs, Station 29, N.C.C Medic 5 and D.S.P. Trooper 4 were dispatched to the area of Port Penn Rd / DuPont Parkway for an MVC with Entrapment and Fire. 18:56hrs Station 4 for Engine 4 was added do to the report of a vehicle on fire. Engine 4-5 responded with a crew of 3 in quarters at 18:57hrs. 29 Captain 1(Newell) arrived on scene and 18:58hrs and confirmed the vehicle on fire with no entrapment. Engine 4-5 arrived at 18:59hrs and extinguished the vehicle. DSP Aviation Trooper 2 in the area also responded. Several people were taken to an area hospital. 29-C-1 placed the scene under control at 19:23hrs.
