Friday January, 20 2012 @ 07:23: Station 1/27, Engine 4 / Rescue 24 and Chesapeake City for the Engine was dispatched to Bald Eagle Way, in the Chesapeake Meadow development for a L3* Residential Fire. Rescue 24 with a crew of 6 responded at 07:27hrs while the N.C.C Communication center advised Ladder 1-7 and Engine 27-5 that the alarm was being upgraded to “Work”. Station 15, Station 29 and Station 26 was added to the alarm. 1 Captain 4 and 1-7 arrived on scene with smoke showing at 07:30hrs. Rescue 24 crew and Engine 4-5 crew checked for extension into the #2 floor and assisted Middletown Firefighters with suppression. Chief 27-8(Bailey) had the command. Tanker 24 crew arrived and assisted in over haul. Odessa Firefighter were in service for over 2 hours.

While Tanker 24 was return from this incident: Station 1/27, Engine 44 on the cover and Tanker 24 responded to a Bus on fire on Summit Bridge Road. The situation was quickly placed under control.
