On Saturday April 28, 2012 at 1135 hours, Station 4/24 along with Medic 5B & Trooper 4 was dispatched to an MVC – W/Rollover on Route 1 North Bound at Vance Neck Road. A-24 arrived at 1140 hours and found a single vehicle overturned with 5 patients who were out of the vehicle. Fireboard relayed that info to Command 24 (Trincia) who requests three additional BLS units bring A-29, B-15 & B-26. Rescue-24 arrived and assisted A-24’s crew with patient care and packing up all 5 patients for transport. Command 24 requested Zone 4 Fire Police to shut down Route 1 North & South bounds so Trooper 4 could land and all fire department personnel had a safe work zone. Engine-4 arrived and assisted Rescue-24’s crew with patient care. B-26 transported 3 patients, A-24 transported 1 patient & Trooper 4 flew 1 patient. The scene was turned over to DSP for further investigation.
