Chief Engineer A.I. Guessford over the last few weeks has been working with a company in New Jersey to have the Cascade Air Bottles on Rescue 24 tested. The system is now reached 5 years old and needed its hydro testing. A decision was made to remove them ourselves and save the company well over $2,000 dollars. Members Herb Strohl utilized Herb's bobcat with several other members/officers and the bottles were removed. After they were tested and returned a few weeks later, several members and officers reinstalled them. The Fire line would like to thank all who helped and especially Ike, Herb and Dave Garcia for getting the job completed.
