Labor Day morning at 02:23hrs; Station 1/27, Engine 4 and Station 2/12(Chesapeake City) was dispatched to an L3* Residential Fire (69D6) in the 100 block of Lynn Circle in the Nautical Cove development. Rescue/Engine 1-6 arrived on scene at 02:38hrs with smoke showing. Engine 24(from Sta. 4) arrived on scene and stood bye the hydrant with the members being sent to the scene and given the job of ventilation from 27-8-B (Mullens). The crew of 4 opened up the rear by fold doors and then assisted in repacking the 5 inch hose from Rescue 27. OFC firefighters were in service for over 1 hour.
