Engine 24 - Station 4

The New Engine 24-3 was placed in service on June 10th by Deputy Chief Billings and Chief Brown.
The truck is a Pierce 2012 Arrow XT with TAK-4 suspension, 6 personnel cab seating with a raised roof and a Detroit DD13 500 hp diesel engine. The pump is a Waterous 1500 GPM single stage pump with a 1000 gallons water tank and a portable foam pack. The truck carries an additional 5 gallons of foam and has a Harrison 10KW PTO driven generator. Wireless Firecom communication headsets, weather band CD/AM/FM radio capable of route alerting and onscene Explore Mapping system.
The hose load consist of REAR * 1100' 4" Supply Hose * 500' 3" Supply/Attack Hose * 300' 2.5" Pre-Connected Attack Line * 300' 2" Pre-Connected Attack Line * 400' 1.75" Pre-Connected Attack Line CROSSLAYS * 200' 1.75" Pre-connected Crosslay * 200' 1.75" Pre-connected Crosslay BUMPER * 200' 1.75" (150')Pre-connected Bumper Line
The Engine has 3 *5' intakes , one on the officer side, drivers side and front bumper. All discharges are 2.5'. The hose bed was designed to be no taller then 5 foot 7 inches from the ground to the bottom of the hose bed.
The Engine carries the stanard Engine Company tools.
Until Station 24 re opens the The Engine will respond from Station 4.
