MVC - 412 N. Sixth Street Odessa

The OFC was dispatched at 0739 hours to an MVC (M29B4) at the Sunoco Gas Station 412 N. Sixth Street in Odessa. Upon the arrival of 24-8 (Chief Brown) & A-24, they found a single vehicle crash with only 1 patient. The patient was transported to CER. Chief Brown place the scene under control holding Rescue-24 in quarters due to it was not needed at that time since the vehicle was off the road into a small drainage ditch covered with bambo. Command-24 (Trincia) arrived and assisted Station fire police with traffic control until the vehicle was removed from the drainage ditch. Chief Brown turned over Command to Command-24 until the vehicle was towed away. After the tow truck arrived he asked Command-24 if we could cut the bambo and other small tree materials away from the car. Firefighter Bowman used the chain saw off of field picec 24-0 to cut away bambo and small tree materials. Command-24 terminated Command at 0900 hours.
