OFC was alerted at 1751 hours for an Engine & Rescue to assist Sta. 1/27 (Middletown) on a townhouse fire. Chief (27-8) Bailey arrived on scene reporting fire showing and assigned the crew from Rescue-24, under Command of Captain Shoemaker, to vent the roof and to assist other crews with fire suppression. Squad 4-6 was responding to the working fire and pulled up on an MVC-Entrapment with vehicles on fire, on Route 299 over Route 1. Squad 4-6, under Command of Captain Eckrich, had the crew from Squad 4-6 remove both drivers from their burning vehicles. The vehicles were extinguished shortly after.
