It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chief Emeritus Edward A (Pop) Shetzler. Chief Shetzler started his service to the community on February 10, 1947. His sixty seven years of active status is one of the longest in company history. Chief Shetzler served in many roles of the company, he served as Fire Chief from 1968-1975. Chief Shetzler's passion was his beloved antique, he along with several other members did a complete restoration on the truck in house starting in 1989 and completed in 1991.
