On February 15, 2017 at 0006 hours The Odessa Fire Company was alerted to assist Vounteer Hose Company on a structure fire. Fire units from Delaware City, Port Penn, Townsend, and Cecil County, MD along with EMS assets from Volunteer Hose Company, Delaware City, Christiana, and New Castle County Paramedics also operated on scene. Tanker 24 with one assisted Tanker 26 with water supply due to the structure being in a non-hydrant area. Odessa units operated on scene for about 2 hours.
