On July 21, 2017 at 1627 hours the Odessa Fire Company was alerted to an MVC on Route 1 northbound in the area of the Pole Bridge Road offramp. 24-8 (Chief Eckrich), A24, Squad 4, Engine 24, and utility 24 made the response. The crash resulted in a Jeep Wrangler coming to rest in the median perpendicular to the roadway after rearending a beverage delivery truck. One person was taken to an area hospital by A24. Units operated on scene for about 15 minutes.
