On August 26, 2017 at approximately 1550 hours the Odessa Fire Company was alerted, along with multiple mutual aid assets, to an MVC with vehicle off the roadway in the marsh. Initial reports indicated that the vehicle was occupied and sinking. B4 arrived to find all occupants were out of the vehicle on the hardball roadway.  Squad 4 arrived on scene and reduced assignment to units on scene. B4 treated one person for minor injuries on scene before clearing. Squad 4 stayed on scene after placeing scene under control to await Delaware State Police arrival.
