On September 10, 2017 at 1315 hours the Odessa Fire Company was alerted to a vehicle fire. Command 24 arrived on scene to find a sedan parked in the driveway of a residence with an active fire in the engine compartment. Engine 24 arrived on scene and initiated an aggressive fire attack. The fire was quickly knocked and overhaul was completed. Units operated on scene for approximately 20 minutes.
