On October 11, 2017 the Odessa Fire Company, along with several mutual aid units, were alerted for a MVC with a report of an overturned tractor trailer carrying gasoline. Units arrived on scene to find conditions as reported.Townsend Fire Company's Chief assumed command and ran the call for duration. Odessa units operated on scene for about 6 hours. However, mutual aid units worked on scene for several more hours.
