On November 2, 2017 the Odessa Fire Company was alerted to assist Townsend Fire Company on a working residential fire. The Odessa Fire Company responded with an Engine and Tanker. Enginer 24 operated on scene as a suppression unit while Tanker 24 operated as part of a large tanker task force shuttling water into the scene. Odessa Fire Company units operated on scene for about 3 hours.
