On Sunday 2/3/19 at 02:18 the Odessa Fire Company was alerted for an Automatic Fire Alarm at the Health South Rehabilitation, Engine 24 had a duty crew in station and responded moments later, E24 arrived on scene to find lots of water coming out from the front doors, During the crews investagation Command 24 arrived on scene and took command of the incident. Due to the type of facility and the possability of having to move patients around, as well as the extent of water damage Command upgraded the call to a Box Alarm. Units responded from Townsend (26), Volunteer Hose (27), and Port Penn (29) to assist with operations. The main sprinkler valve was located and turned off, The water flow slowed and the scene was eventually turned over to mainteance and all units cleared.
