On Friday March 15, 2019 at 19:39 hours the Odessa Fire Company was alerted to respond to a dumpster fire with exposure to a vehicle. Rescue 24, and B24 went responding right away due to having a duty crew in station. Upon arrival Rescue 24 went on scene to find a construction dumpster with fire showing through out. Deputy 24 took command and a 1" 3/4 line was stretched from Rescue 24 and put into service. Fire was quickly knocked, and overhaul began. Other units on scene were NCCPD, Squad 4, Tanker 24, Command 24 and State Fire Marshalls. Units operated on scene for approx. 1 hour.
