On Tuesday morning at 05:56 the Odessa Fire Company was alerted to respond to a vehicle on fire reported fully involved. E24, R24, and A24 for the BLS all went responding. A24 was first on scene and confirmed 1 vehicle with heavy fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The driver and all passengers made it out safely. E24 arrived and stretched 200' of 1 3/4 line of the front bumper and quickly went to work to extingulish the fire. All north bound traffic on SR 1 was stopped while fire supression was going on. crews remained on scene approx. 40 minutes.
