On Thursday August 22, 2019 at 16:36 hours The Odessa Fire Company was alerted for a possible grass fire on Route 1 in the area of the Appo. River Bridge. 24-0 and Command 24 went responding. Upon arrival, a small area of grass was found burnt, and a small area still burning. The crew from 24-0 put the pump in service, and quickly put the ramaining fire out and soaked down the area where the contruction workers were working to prevent a re ignite. Situation was placed under control, and units went available.
