OFC Units along with units from Townsend Fire Co, NCCEMS, and DSP were alerted to an MVC that reported high velocity on Fieldsboro Road in the area of Diver Street.  Units arrived on-scene to find a single-vehicle accident involving a utility pole that had been sheared off.  The patient was evaluated by EMS and the scene was turned over to NCCPD for their investigation.  DSFP and DelDOT assisted with traffic and mitigation of the icy roadways.
